Across the Border
Across the Border/Bridging the Gap Funded by The Arts Council Local Partnership Scheme Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership are working in partnership with North Tipperary Arts Office and Galway Arts Office on two school based artist residencies. 2008 - 2009

Space and Place
Following on from her work in Trading Places/CR.E.A.T.E., Artist Ann Henderson returns to Ballydown, P.S. This time she is combining face to face meetings with online collaboration using web cam and an online journal. 2007 - 2008
Access All Areas
This programme inspired children of all abilities to awaken their imaginations through story time workshops and the creation of their own writing and pictures for a new picture book celebrating local humour, language, accents, food and activities. 2007
Kids' Own Voices
This was a one year pilot programme working with young people to ‘imagine’ shared visions for a peaceful society, involving two artists in residence in two different schools. 2007
Seminar at The Ark
Kids' Own delivered a seminar at The Ark to promote best practice in the field of artists working with children. During the seminar, Kids' Own presented and demonstrated findings from the project Trading Places/CR.E.A.T.E. 2007
Remote Access
Using web cams and an online journal, Cork-based artist Julie Forrester collaborated with young adults in Northern Ireland. This project explores the use of current online publishing tools by young adults with physical disabilities as partners and co-collaborators. 2005 - 2006
Bridging the Divide
A course developed by the Nerve Centre in Derry, and offered by Kids' Own in Sligo. 2004 - 2005
Trading Places/CR.E.A.T.E.
This project placed eleven artists in ten primary schools in Cavan, Sligo, Leitrim, Armagh and Belfast. Children, teachers and artists collaborated through a series of residencies, training sessions and creative exchanges resulting in the creation of innovative work. 2003 - 2005
Young Curators
Kids' Own worked in partnership with Sligo Art Gallery to raise the status of children as curators and critics. Nine pupils from three Sligo schools will be chosen to represent their class in selecting artwork for the North West Artist Open Submission Exhibition 2002. 2002
Multimedia Maps: Artists in Schools
Multimedia Maps was a three year project which put artists in school communities in the border counties in Ireland to investigate the uses of new technologies as tools for creativity and exchange. 2000 - 2001
Unheard Voices
Unheard Voices is a series of books focusing on both building resources for minority languages in Ireland; as well as developing intercultural understanding. 2000 - 2010
