As part of a national competition, 89 children were invited to participate in workshops led by Kids’ Own Publishing in six Education Centres around Ireland. At these workshops, 89 children explored family perspectives on the life and work of a builder, working around machinery and equipment hazards, the risks for children in entering construction sites, the use of safety clothing and many other construction safety issues.
The result of the children’s efforts and creative energy is this beautiful publication which seeks to hight the power of the child’s voice as an influencer of adult behaviour.
