This book is about ocean safety and fishing life by 116 children from all over Ireland. As part of a national competition, children were invited to participate in day long workshop led by Kids’ Own Publishing with the HSA and with those directly involved in fishing organisations and sea rescue.
Through a creative process of collaborating with artists Sharon Kelly and Orla Kenny and writer Jo Holmwood, the children worked together to create collages, drawings and text for this book.
