We’d like to share this colourful resource for teachers that we created last year in partnership with Mayo Arts Service and St Angela’s National School, Castlebar. Just in case you missed it during Covid!

A Splash of Blue was developed to make Mayo County Council’s Schools Exhibition accessible to primary schools and show children how to explore artworks through looking, thinking, talking and responding in creative ways such as art, writing, music and more.

The collection and accompanying resource A Splash of Blue is available now to tour to schools in Mayo. This booklet is jam packed with children’s thoughts and ideas on how to engage with the artworks in a fun way while they are at your school.
