The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child formed the basis for this colourful book. In art workshops led by Kids’ Own, children creatively responded to this list of rights, expressing their thoughts, voice and opinions of how they experience their rights.
The children were are 4 questions:
– Why are children important?
– What’s important to children?
– Who are children important to?
– Who should listen to children?
From these questions, children were given the space to identify themes they would like to see in the book.
