Calling all educators, teachers, artists, writers, change makers, cultural workers and policy makers!

Kids’ Own is delighted announce that ticket bookings are now open for our 25th anniversary conference at The Model, Sligo, on Friday the 25th of November! This conference celebrates 25 years of publishing children’s voices and artwork and will be a chance to explore and discuss the impact of Kids’ Own’s work and to recognise the work of the organisations we work in partnership with.

Join us for panels, discussions and workshops covering early years arts practice, children’s creativity and authorship, social inclusion, children’s rights, and more. The conference is free to attend, places must be booked in advance.

Creative workshop for teachers

Date: 24th Nov, 4-6 pm at the Model, Sligo

A creative workshop for primary school teachers on using Kids’ Own books in the classroom on Thursday the 24th of November from 4-6 pm, at the Model, Sligo.

Please note places on workshops are limited and must be booked separately. Booking for this workshop is open via our Eventbrite page.

Panel discussion with Ann Donnelly (Kids’ Own Associate Artist), Vanya Lambrecht Ward (Kids’ Own Associate Artist) and Liz Coman (Assistant Arts Officer, Dublin City Council).


Youth Panel

An opportunity to listen to the thoughts of young people who have been part of recent Kids’ Own projects.

Choice of creative workshops for those interested in working collaboratively with children. Places on workshops are limited and must be booked separately. Booking and more information will be available shortly. Priority will be given to conference attendees.
