We’re very pleased to welcome Jane Parsons, who has joined Kids’ Own as our new Interim Co-Director.
Jane brings extensive experience in arts sector management, having most recently worked as Executive Director at Blue Teapot Theatre Company in Galway. Prior to that, she was Capital & Development Manager at Hawk’s Well Theatre in Sligo, where she worked across development and capital projects.
Accessibility is a particular area of interest for Jane, and in early 2023 she graduated from IADT with a MBus in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and she was awarded the EisnerAmper Award.
Jane’s career in the arts began in London, where she worked as a graphic designer across print and online publishing. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA in Design for Communication Media before moving into arts management.
With her experience across arts organisations, development, accessibility and creative practice, Jane brings a broad perspective to her new role at Kids’ Own. We’re looking forward to working with her as she takes up the role of Interim Co-Director and joins the team at an exciting time for the organisation.
