We are delighted to welcome Louise Holian as our interim CEO while Ciara Gallagher begins her maternity leave. We wish Ciara all the best during this special time and look forward to welcoming her back next year.
Louise brings a wealth of experience to Kids’ Own, with a background spanning theatre and performance, youth work, community arts, child protection, mental health promotion, and facilitation. She is also completing her master’s in counselling and psychotherapy this year.
Louise shared her excitement about stepping into the role:
“As I keep the seat warm for Ciara over the next year, I’m really looking forward to working alongside a dedicated, hardworking & talented team to empower children & young people from all backgrounds in the world of the arts—enabling their potential & ensuring their voice is heard. The values of Kids’ Own align so well with my own, it’s a natural fit and so I am very excited for what’s to come.”
We are excited to work with Louise and continue delivering meaningful projects that place children’s voices at the heart of the arts.
