Kids’ Own are currently working on a new book, The Peace Generation. This will be a limited edition hand-made book, created as a result of the sessions of the Interfaith project carried out in the first half of 2012.

Printmaker Pete Williams worked with students aged 13-15 from Derry and Donegal on the concept “What Do I Believe In?” The students attended interviews with members of different religious faiths and created prints in response to these interviews. Some footage from the interviews is available on Vimeo.

The book is due to be launched with two separate launches in Derry and Donegal. The launches will take place in Autumn 2012 and January 2013, and will be accompanied by an exhibition of the work created for the book and an event for young people.
