Beautiful images (c) Anna Leask – are now available to view on our flickr profile, from the wonderful “Lull for Babies” event that took place at The Hawk’s Well Theatre and The Model, Sligo on Culture Night, on September 20th.

Artist Maree Hensey and Musician Kieran Munnelly created a soothing stimulating space for parents & babies, which was a celebration of lullaby and an exploration of colour, texture and mark-making with the children.

This event is part of the planning & development for Kids’ Own’s Lullaby Tour, which starts in October 2013 – and tours to three Early Childhood Care & Education Centres in County Sligo. The Lullaby Tour is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland, Early Childhood Ireland and the Katherine Howard Foundation, and is delivered in partnership with Early Childhood Ireland.

The project will result in the publication of a brand new Kids’ Own Book & App.
