Internship Opportunity – Marketing & Communications (Deadline Extension)

Kids’ Own is pleased to invite applications for a Communications and Marketing internship under the JobBridge scheme (http://jobbridge.ie).

Working closely with the Creative Director at our office in County Sligo, the intern will support the development of the marketing & communications work of the organisation.

Qualifications and Education/ Training:

  • An appropriate third level qualification in Marketing/Communication or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies and campaigns;
  • Experience in the non-profit, publishing or arts sectors would be an advantage.
  • Skills, knowledge & abilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • demonstrated ability to think strategically and to identify marketing opportunities;
  • excellent organisational and administrative skills;
  • event management skills;
  • excellent IT skills (website and database management);
  • proven social media marketing skills;
  • flexibility in adapting to changing and developing roles;
  • a passion for the arts and books;
  • the ability to maintain a high level of social, organisational and professional standards.
