We had two marvellous days at The Model Sligo for the Book Factory as part of Sligo Children’s Book Festival.
So many wonderful and imaginative stories to tell, too many to mention but rockets, rainbows, magical trees and farting unicorns all featured, as did jokes and grannies that weren’t so funny!
In its fifth year, The Book Factory was delighted to welcome parents, children and teachers new and old to participate and create their own stories and books! Mayor of Sligo Marie Casserly even called by to see the children’s work “What a great group of children, and lovely to spend time with them, looking forward to seeing their finished masterpieces!”
