We’re pleased to welcome Hedda Dick to Kids’ Own as our new Office and Operations Administrator. Hedda brings experience across publishing, sustainability, community engagement and the arts, along with a strong commitment to creative and socially engaged work.
Hedda started her career in publishing and graphic design after completing a BA in Communication Studies at DCU. She later completed an MSc in Sustainable Development and went on to work in sustainability and environmental awareness, taking on roles with a range of NGOs and agencies across Ireland.
Hedda enjoys engaging people of all ages and abilities in conversations about environmental issues and runs a variety of sustainability projects through her own business, Earthnut. She is also actively involved in local creative initiatives, including the Manorhamilton Open Mic, which she has co-organised since 2013.
