Save the date! Kids’ Own is delighted to announce our 25th Anniversary Conference, which will take place on Friday the 25th of November, at the Model, Sligo!

This conference celebrates 25 years of publishing children’s voices and artwork and will be a chance to explore and discuss the impact of Kids’ Own’s work and to recognise the work of the organisations we work in partnership with.

We will have presentations and discussion panels with artists, researchers, and partners across sectors on issues such as meaningful arts practice with children, social inclusion, access to the arts, early years practice, and lots more!

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we will also host a number of creative workshops:

A creative workshop for primary school teachers on using Kids’ Own books in the classroom on Thursday the 24th of November from 4-6pm, at the Model, Sligo.

Creative workshops for those interested in working collaboratively with children, on Saturday the 26th November, 10am-1pm, at the Model Sligo.
