Bryonie received a grant from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland last year to make new work titled ‘Their Truths’, drawing on a family archive and considering the complex interactions of national and personal histories. This year Bryonie will publish in The Irish Review ‘Trying Identities’, a paper reflecting on the tenuous ‘both/and’ identities of Erskine Childers and Roger Casement in the revolutionary period in Ireland.
