Ann Donnelly

Ann Donnelly is a Northern Irish artist who has been artist in residence on the Virtually There project at Donaghey Primary School, Dungannon, since 2009. She recently  received an ACES award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to support and develop her work with the Virtual Residency Programme.

Ann is currently an exhibiting artist on the Virtually There exhibition and event tour (2014/15) and previously exhibited work from her residency during the ‘Practice’ exhibition tour (2014) and at the ‘Dwell’ exhibition in Burnavon Arts Centre, Cookstown (2014). Ann has also worked with Kids’ Own on The Book Factory with Cinemobile (2014).

Ann works mainly with video and photography, often in response to a sense of place. In both solo practice and collaborative projects, she explores themes of being and belonging and her work has been exhibited internationally.
