‘Where Are We Now?’ Upcoming Symposium

Helium, in collaboration with Kids’ Own present a symposium entitled ‘Where Are We Now?’ examining arts for children in hospital within the context of the Puppet Portal Project, a long-term project working with artists, healthcare professionals and children in hospital.

This symposium will be for artists and healthcare professionals who are interested in participatory arts with children in hospital. The day will include a keynote address, presentations from artists and healthcare workers who participated in the Puppet Portal Project, hands-on workshops and plenary discussions about the future of participatory arts with children in hospital with contributions from a panel of healthcare professionals and arts professionals.

The symposium will take place on Friday, October 28th, 2011 from 10.45 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. and will cost €10 to attend.
