Kids’ Own is working on an exciting new project with six childcare settings in Waterford, Kilkenny and Carlow to create a new book with pre-school children about giving the gift of kindness. Working with writer Mary Branley and artist Naomi Draper, the children explored the gift of kindess through treasure hunts, music, conversations and creativity.

This project builds on our previous early years work and seeks to create opportunities for children in pre-school settings to have access to the arts and professional artists, and to also create opportunities for the unique perspectives of pre-school children to be recognised and valued.

The Kindness Project is funded by the ESB Energy for Generations Fund and is delivered by Kids’ Own in partnership with Carlow Childcare Committee, Kilkenny Childcare Committee and Waterford Childcare Committee.
