by Kids’ Own
A children’s arts organisation and publishing house.
As we mark Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week, Kids’ Own is proud to reflect on how our projects contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future for children in Ireland. Our work aligns with several SDGs, particularly those focusing on quality education, reduced inequalities, and promoting peace and strong institutions.
Through our initiatives, we support children as independent writers, thinkers, and creators. We believe in the importance of their voices and stories, ensuring they have the opportunity to engage with the arts and share their experiences. Our collaborative projects with diverse communities, including Traveller and Roma children, help to highlight the richness of their heritage and identities.
We are dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where all children can express themselves creatively. By working with professional artists, we support young people in exploring their emotions and developing their artistic talents. Our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion ensures that every child’s voice is valued and represented.
This SDG Week, we invite you to learn more about our projects and see how we’re making a difference in the lives of children and their communities. Together, we can contribute to a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
