Through Practice.ie, Kids’ Own supports artists and arts professionals working with children and young people.

On 11th June, in partnership with Kildare Arts Office, we hosted a National Networking and Professional Development Day for artists working with children and young people. The day included presentations from artists, who explored, and invited discussion about, different areas of practice, from planning and facilitation, to listening, documentation and social integration.

The quality of the conversations that emerged among those present really reflected the relevance of these topics to current practice.

One participant said, “Very reflective – touching on many recurring issues for me both as a practising artist and arts facilitator working with children.”
