Launch of The Lullaby Tour

The Lullaby Tour kicked off on 17 October with a creative information session for parents and practitioners at Toadstool Cottage in Ballyrush, County Sligo. On the Lullaby Tour, artist Maree Hensey and musician Martin Brunsden will engage creatively with babies aged 6-18 months & their parents through sound, lullaby and sensory stimulation in 3 Early Childhood Care & Education Centres in County Sligo. The centres participating in the tour are Toadstool Cottage Community Childcare Centre in Ballyrush, Little Pathways Creche & Montessori in Strandhill and Sandcastles Childcare Centre, Enniscrone. The Sligo Tour will continue until February 2014.

The Lullaby Project is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland, Early Childhood Ireland and the Katherine Howard Foundation.

The Lullaby Project will result in the publication of a brand new Kids’ Own book and app next spring.
