Interfaith Project moves to next stage

The Interfaith project is moving to the next stage with the conclusion of the interviews and research stage of the project.

Teenagers aged 13-15 from Carndonagh, Donegal and Strathfoyle, Derry have been researching the theme ‘What do I believe in?’ exploring the idea of faith and beliefs. During the project the youths interviewed Father Billy McLaughlin (Catholic), Reverend Gilbert Young (Presbyterian) and Lobsang Wangchuck (Buddhist) and conducted research on various defferent beliefs and ideas of faith.

They will now engage in a print project using this research to create a visual response to the theme ‘What do I believe in?’ working with Welsh printmaker Pete Williams. Some video from the interview days is available below – more can be found here.
