The Kids’ Own Book Factory was officially launched at Sligo Children’s Book Festival at the weekend and welcomed more than 200 children and parents over the course of 3 days!! Artists Orla Kenny and Naomi Draper invited children to take off their shoes, roll up their sleeves and get active in the Book Factory, which was installed in the Model, Sligo for the duration of the festival. The Book Factory is an interactive and immersive book-making experience for young children.

Among those who attended the workshops over the weekend were children from Our Lady of Mercy Primary School, and Scoil Ursula.
