The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has announced a new farm safety multimedia competition for post-primary school students which will be launched in September 2015. Multimedia entries will be invited from students with a focus on improving farm safety awareness and behaviour. These entries might take the form of videos, animation, interactive farm safety games, social media, apps etc. The winning entries will become part of the national HSA Farm Safety campaign in 2016.

Teachers: Timetable the competition in your diary now and encourage all to get involved!

This Competition is part of the Health and Safety Authority’s wider awareness raising campaign involving young people as a positive influence to effect change in safety behaviour among their families and the wider farming community. Kids’ Own and Kilkenny Education Centre will be collaborating with the HSA on managing and supporting this campaign.
