The Book Factory is now on wheels! This February we started a new partnership project with Cinemobile, bringing free creative writing workshops to primary school groups across Northern Ireland. Our first series of workshops is taking place at Ebrington Square, Derry, from 10-14 February.

Working alongside a professional artist and writer, the workshops focus on a creative process through which each child will create their own unique book to take away. Artists Orla Kenny, Jo Holmwood, Mary Branley and Ann Donnelly are collaborating with children on this project and will be touring to key towns over the next few months, delivering workshops from the Cinemobile.

The next series of workshops begins in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, on Monday 24 February. Cinemobile will be parked at the Omagh Library Car Park for the week.

Update: The Book Factory at Cinemobile will be in Enniskillen from 18-21 March.
