Supported by the Office of the Minister for Integration, Kids' Own Publishing Partnership is delighted to be working with the Festival of World Cultures for the first time.

As part of the festival, which will be held in Dun Laoghaire on the 29th and 30th August, 2009, Writer Mary Branley and Artist Vanya Lambrecht Ward will work with children aged 6 and upwards to create personal hand-made books that reflect the children's own experiences through stories and illustrations.

In addition to the work that the children take away with them, the books will be collated by Kids' Own and brought together into one very special limited edition publication, as a celebration of the festival's broader themes of identity and diversity.
