Pattern Detectives

"Both Anna and I were amazed at how long the children spent locating, sketching and taking rubbings of patterns. In our meeting to discuss how the day had gone, we both realised that the children could have, and would have enjoyed spending a lot more time at this activity... For me, as a teacher, this has taught me that children really can surprise you and they are often more interested in certain things than you think they will be!"
