Building on the many successes of the linen project. Artist Ann Henderson will work again in Ballydown P.S. Banbridge, Co. Down to collaborate with teachers and children to explore the theme of space and place through real and remote communications over the period of one school year.
Teachers will have the opportunities to work with Ann to connect learning across the curriculum using the arts and technology.
Kids’ Own are working in partnership with C2K to carry out this action research using Marratech software. Ann will start in the school on the 19th of September. This is the first residency to be part of a wider programme from Kids’ Own that aim to provide a context in which teachers, artists and children are supported to play, create and make new work using technology.
