"Creativity is not accidental, it must be nurtured and developed. Bringing teachers and artists together in creative partnerships creates a dynamic exchange when children are at the core of the process. The construct of Multimedia Maps offered possibilities for a new relationship to be created between the artist and the school setting. The process facilitated the opportunity for adults and children to explore together, leaving expertise to one side at times and in the process discovering new skills. This environment fostered a situation where everyone became equal partners in learning and, with everyone learning together, the potential was there for the child to become the teacher of the adult. At the heart of this process is the purity of the child's vision."
