Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership is seeking a Publishing Assistant: JobBridge Internship

Description
The intern will gain practical experience in office management, online and offline publishing, project management, liaising with partners and funders, arts practice with children and young people, documentation. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: design and layout, online and offline publishing, child protection and safeguarding procedures, office/ project management. On completion the intern will have attained skills in publishing and design, project planning and seeing projects to completion, being part of a small, busy office team, broader awareness of the publishing sector and arts practice with children and young people, office management and administrative skills.

Skills Requirements
Successful candidate must be confident in the use of computers and basic office software. Familiarity with apple computers and adobe design software would be advantageous. Applicants should have good communication skills, be resourceful, self-motivated and be willing to work within a small but busy team.

Education Requirements
Third Level – Third level qualification in arts, design, business or other relevant field
