About Kids’ Own
Kids’ Own provide and support high quality authentic engagement between artists and children. Over the past 12 years we have supported a number of school based residencies that have explored creative engagement between artists and children using technology. This work has developed new opportunities for children to engage with artists and for artists to develop new ways of working with children. Looking forward Kids’ Own are keen to develop this work further by maximising the use of online technologies to offer further opportunities for exchange and learning between artists and children, between artists, between educators not only as a tool for communication but also as a vehicle for creating new work and professional development. We are keen to explore the social, ethical, and environmental impact, and benefits of this type of work
